Maintaining the system of pipes, tanks, fittings, and other apparatus required for a property’s water supply, heating and sanitation is an essential part of good housing management. The need to understand drainage and wastewater systems is another important facet.

By the end of the course you will be able to identify the main components of a domestic plumbing system and understand how it functions. You will also be able to use questioning techniques to identify simple defects relating to plumbing and drainage, and to suggest appropriate remedial works.
